About Sweet Home Baptist Church
The key to prosperity and success is obedience to God. Many of us spend an enormous amount of time planning, preparing, and chasing desires of this world that leave us short of the mark. I contend that the only gauranteed success in life is an investment in the word of God.

Maybe things have not turned out as you expected, however, as you transition from one phase in life to another, be reminded of what the Lord our God said : "I promise...Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you (Joshua 1:3)." Stay focused on God and His word, be strong and very courageous. God is not a man that He shoud lie; if He said it, He will do it.

With that said, we welcome you to the Sweet Home Baptist Church Website. Please feel free to contact us, and if you are in the Dallas-Forth Worth, Texas area, give us a visit. May His peace keep you and His love abound always.

Our Mission
With allegiance to our God, the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; we aim to serve our church family, community, schools, businesses and neighbors according to the tenets of scripture and influence of the Holy Spirit of God. Our vision includes providing information and making programs available at our church and within our community; such as substance abuse counseling, job skills development, parenting classes, child-care and after school programs, re-entry program for those being released from state jails and prison; we also believe that it is necessary to provide counseling services for the family members of those who are presently incarcerated and assisting them in their transition as well. We will always be mandated by the Great Commission; we will always be committed to the Holy Scriptures and the power of prayer. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church; we will continue to do all to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Him.
2017 Bridging Generational Gaps

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation"

2 Corinthians 5:17-18

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.  Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:6-8
